While the environmental impact from the hygiene products and baby diapers is well documented in a plethora number of scientific journals, ΕU reports and academic studies, it still remains vague the level of citizens knowledge on this matter, and especially women and young girls. In addition, most of these scientific journals and resources are locked or require fees, thus decreasing the level of access and hence the level of knowledge of citizens toward these resources. To this end, RESULT 1 seeks to generate a thorough understanding of the level of information and knowledge female citizens possess when it comes to the harmful effect of menstrual products/baby diapers in the environment.
